Junk Kouture
Junk Kouture is a sustainability and design contest, which incorporates fashion, art and engineering for young people aged 13 to 18 years of age. It has lead to an influx of new talent and creative young people entering into the world of fashion, performance and the wider creative industry sector.
E-Service Learning
Service learning is all about experiential learning — that is, learning through experience, but by way of community service. Universities partner with local groups and organizations that are willing to have students as a part of their programs. The service is usually in line with what the student is learning, and that learning is incorporated into the classroom by way of assignments, discussions, and more. E-service learning is service learning that is facilitated either wholly or in part via technology and digital tools.
